I spent 99% of my childhood watching musicals so I have a song for nearly all occasions and moods. Today is May Day so here is a song with May in the title! It's from Camelot which is the best bad musical EVER. This song is about Guinevere feeling "lusty" in the spring:
Look at Vanessa Redgrave! AMAZING. I never knew the King Arthur was around in the sixties!
P.s. TWO things
1. Julie Andrews played Guinevere in the original stageshow which is clearly wrong in every way!
2. Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero (Lancelot) fell in love when they were filming Camelot (in 1967) but they broke up and went on to have other relationships etc. years and years later they got back together and were married in 2006!
